Our signature generative writing workshop program will return in the spring of 2025. A dynamic cohort of U.S.-based and international writers will gather in NYC to share work and artistic perspectives. Participants this year will include guest artists Marcos Barbosa, Lígia Soares, and Guilherme Gomes from Portugal.

Peacedale Global Arts will return to Alentejo, Portugal for a residency that brings U.S. writers to work with artists and playwrights in the Portuguese theater community as part of an ongoing partnership with Escola do Largo and hosted by Mala Voadora.

Peacedale Global Arts staff will continue our collaboration with the Arts University of Târgu Mureș in November of 2025. This 2-year program brings together graduate students, faculty, and alumni from the Hungarian and Romanian sections of the University’s two-year master’s degree program in Playwriting. In Year One, two U.S. playwrights will lead writing workshops with the graduate playwriting students and alumni.
